1. Arrive Halifax Tour Begins: 5:00 PM, Delta Barrington. Welcome to Nova Scotia! Your Canadian journey begins at a welcome reception at Pier 21, Gateway to Canada. This interpretive center portrays the historic journey of 20th-century Canadian immigrants in the new world. Meals D
2. Lunenburg / Peggy’s Cove Pass through seaside hamlets and harbor towns en route to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting colorful 19th-century timber-built houses. A choice of sightseeing today includes a walking tour of Lunenburg or a visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, detailing the Maritimes’ seafaring heritage. 3. Prince Edward Island Take a ferry from Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island. At Prince Edward Island National Park, discover salt marshes rich in wildlife, freshwater ponds, dramatic bluffs, and endless coastline; see the fragility of the sweeping dunes on Greenwich Peninsula. Arrive in the provincial capital of Charlottetown for a three-night stay. Schedule permitting, attend a performance of the musical Anne of Green Gables tonight. Meals BL

Anne of Green Gables In Charlottetown – known to many as the “birthplace of Canada” – visit Founders’ Hall, where state-of-the-art displays chronicle Canada’s origins and the history of the Fathers of the Confederation. View quaint fishing villages as you travel along the island’s magnificent beaches, and visit Green Gables House, the farmhouse immortalized in Lucy Maud Montgomery’s beloved book. 5. Explore Prince Edward Island Prince Edward Island inspires with picture-book beauty and incomparable images of a rich seafaring legacy. Discover its heart and soul on a journey along the North Cape Coastal Drive to explore secluded beaches, charming fishing villages and farms, and stately Victorian architecture. 6. Digby / Annapolis Royal Cross the Confederation Bridge today, the longest bridge in the world that spans ice-covered waters, to New Brunswick and on to Nova Scotia. Visit Annapolis Royal, home to some of North America’s earliest European settlers in 1605, and the Fort Anne Historical Site, dating back to the early 18th century; the most-attacked site in Canadian history, Fort Anne played a key role in military conflicts. Continue on to your golf resort in Digby, set along the Evangeline Trail overlooking the Annapolis Basin and the Bay of Fundy, for two nights. Meals BLD
7. Whale Watching / Time at Leisure Journey today to Digby Neck, a long, narrow peninsula of land nearly surrounded by water. The high tides of the Bay of Fundy make the waters rich in wildlife; weather permitting, enjoy an opportunity for some of the best whale and bird watching in the world today. 8. Journey Home The fertile farmland of the Annapolis Valley surrounds you en route to Grand-Pré National Historic Site; the events of the Acadian expulsion that began here in 1755 inspired Longfellow’s celebrated poem, Evangeline.
